== Swahili == === Etymology === Inherited from Proto-Sabaki *-cunzya, from *-cunga (“to look after, to herd”) +‎ *-ya (causative). By surface analysis, -cunga +‎ -ya. Seems to have been influenced by Northern dialect forms like Amu -t̪und̪a; compare Pemba -chunza, which is the expected outcome in Southern dialects.
