== Albanian == === Etymology === From Proto-Albanian *ǵákə, from earlier Proto-Albanian *źaka, from Proto-Indo-European *sokʷos (“sap, resin”). Compare Lithuanian sakai̇̃ (“resin”), Ancient Greek ὀπός (opós, “sap”), Proto-Slavic *sokъ (“juice”).
