== German == === Etymology === From Levantine Arabic تعال لهون (ta'al lahon, “come here”). The expression became popularized in August 2022 by the rapper Hassan Tammo, with the track "Ta3la hon" (see quote). Its use was amplified over time through Internet culture; by the summer of 2024 it had become general Gen Z slang. === Noun === Talahon m (strong, genitive Talahons, plural Talahons) (youth slang, Internet slang, often derogatory) An adherent of an urban subculture of males aged between about 13 and 25, typically but not necessarily of Middle Eastern origin, characterized, among other things, by a passion for German hip hop and wearing counterfeit designer labels.
