Minced oath, from the names of Arabic letters س (sīn) and ق (qāf), for any vulgar or profane phrase that contains sikmek (“to fuck”), which is highly productive. Although, the word sikmek would be spelled with the letter ك (kāf), which would be converted to Turkish as kef.
