== Latin == === Etymology === From nōs (“us”, accusative) +‎ -cum (“with”), remodelled from or simply replacing the Classical equivalent nōbīscum which was based on nōbīs (“us”, ablative). The trend in the late vernacular was for the accusative case to be used with all prepositions.
