==== Usage notes ====
kuivata and kuivattaa are mostly synonymous, although the former implies a more active form of drying (e.g. actually wiping something dry with a towel), while the latter often implies e.g. leaving something to dry on its own. However, other differences may also exist. For example, with skin (iho), kuivata usually refers to drying the skin after a shower or bath, while kuivattaa refers to drying out the skin (removing moisture from the skin).
