From otherwise unattested *hol (“morning, dawn”) + nap (“day”). Originally meant "morning". For the "morning" > "tomorrow" development, compare German Morgen (“morning”), morgen (“tomorrow”) or Spanish mañana (“morning”), mañana (“tomorrow”). The prefix is from the Proto-Uralic *kude (“morning”).
