(slang) a nonsensical response to a question, specially the interjection ha?
==== Usage notes ====
This can be used when the speaker does not want to answer the question.
The response can be replaced by any words that start with ha, more popularly, halaman (“plant”) as a replacement.
A method for other question words, such as saan (“where”), would be to find a word that has a similar first syllable of the question word, such as sandok (“ladle”), or using ano (“what”), in areas where the surname or place Anonas is known e.g.
Saan? sandok!
Ano? Anonas!
This may be considered dated.
