== Galician ==
=== Verb ===
deiten
inflection of deitar:
third-person plural present subjunctive
third-person plural imperative
== Luxembourgish ==
=== Alternative forms ===
deiden (now dialectal)
=== Etymology ===
From Middle High German dǖden, from Old High German *diuden, West Central German form of diuten, from Proto-Germanic *þiudijaną. The -t- was generalized from the syllable coda, likely under influence of German deuten. Apart from the general lack of the shift d → t in Luxembourgish, the diphthong [ɑɪ̯] still attests to this, because it developed only before voiced sounds. Further cognate with Dutch duiden.
