== Cimbrian == === Etymology === From Middle High German wegeln, a variant of wageln, itself derived from wagen, from Old High German wagōn, from Proto-West Germanic *wagōn, from Proto-Germanic *wagōną (“to move, stir, sway”). Cognate with Alemannic German wägelen (“(of children) to roll”), Transylvanian Saxon wegeln (“to waggle, wobble”), Swabian wägeln (“to waver (in making a decision)”).
