== Estonian == === Etymology === From Proto-Finnic *ahmidak (“to wolf down, to eat quickly; to hog, to hoard”), from *ahma (“glutton; wolverine”) +‎ *-idak. Proto-Finnic *ahma comes from earlier *ašma, probably borrowed from Proto-Indo-Iranian *Haćman-. Equivalent to ahm +‎ -ma.
