== Vietnamese == === Etymology === Sino-Vietnamese word from 尊室, composed of 尊 (“august”) and 室 (“chamber”), originally a non-Sino-Vietnamese reading of Chinese 宗室 (“imperial chamber(lain)”, SV: Tông Thất), with tông perhaps euphemistically replaced with tôn to avoid referencing Emperor Thiệu Trị, whose taboo name was Nguyễn Phúc Miên Tông. A name prescribed by Emperor Minh Mạng upon male descendants of the Nguyễn Phúc lineage.
