== Kwak'wala == === Etymology === Possibly from ꟛugʷē (“treasure”) +‎ -ala (iterative, continuative or agentive aspect). Cognate with Heiltsuk ꟛúgválá (“find a treasure”). === Pronunciation === IPA(key): /d͡lu.ɡʷa.la/ === Verb === ꟛugʷala to acquire a treasure or, in particular, a supernatural power. ==== Usage notes ==== The Latin characters uppercase Ꟛ U+A7DA and lowercase ꟛ U+A7DB were added to the Unicode Standard 16.0 released on 10 September 2024 (Delta Code Charts, Latin Extended-D, Range: A720–A7FF).
