zweeeeëg
التعريفات والمعاني
== Luxembourgish ==
=== Etymology ===
From zwee (“two”) + Ee (“egg”) + -eg, after German zweieiig (literally “two-eggy”). Luxembourgish uses ë to indicate hiatus in some cases, but only for the short or reduced vowel [ə]; therefore the spelling is zweeeeëg and not *zweeëeëg.
=== Pronunciation ===
IPA(key): /ˈtsveːˌeː.eχ/, [ˈt͡sweːˌʔeː.əɕ]
=== Adjective ===
zweeeeëg (masculine zweeeeëgen, neuter zweeeeëgt, not comparable)
(biology) dizygotic; non-identical (twins, etc.)
Coordinate term: eeneeëg (“monozygotic”)
