== Swedish == === Etymology === Compound of ur (“aurchochs”) +‎ oxe (“ox”), calque of Middle Low German ūrosse (compare English aurchochs), with the prefix being the original word for the species, from younger Old Swedish ur, uhr, from Old Norse úrr, from Proto-Norse *ᚢᚱᛁᛉ (*uriʀ), from a Proto-Germanic *ūraz.
