tuburchinor
=== Etymology ===
De Vaan speculatively relates this verb to tūber (“swelling”). According to this theory, tuburcinor originally meant "to be(come) a fat, stuffed person (by eating greedily)", and is derived from a noun *tūbVrko- "fat person" (where V is an unspecified vowel), ultimately from Proto-Indo-European *tewh₂- (“to swell”). The final element would be -cinor.
