Originally mistakenly applied to the characters Ryu and Ken from Street Fighter II by translators working for Capcom USA, despite neither being practitioners of the style. === Noun === shoto (plural shotos) (video games) In the Street Fighter series, either of the playable characters Ryu and Ken; by extension, several characters with similar attacks.
