== Aromanian == === Alternative forms === ptsãn, putsãnu, putsen === Etymology === From a Vulgar Latin *putinus (attested in Medieval Latin pusinnu, pittinus (“small”)), a blend of Late Latin pitinnus (“very small”) and the root of Classical Latin putus (“young boy”), putillus (“very small”). Compare Romanian puțin, Megleno-Romanian puțǫn; further Albanian picërr, Old Logudorese pithinnu, Tarantino piččinnu. An alternative, perhaps less likely, theory derives it from a Vulgar Latin root *paucinus, from Latin paucus (“few, little”). === Adjective === putsãn m (feminine putsãnã, masculine plural putsãnj, feminine plural putsãni or putsãne) a little, little, few small (in amount) === Adverb === putsãn a little, few ==== Antonyms ==== multu === References ===
