Literally, “put [someone] looking towards Cuenca”. The expression comes from the days of Philip I of Castile, who is said to have used the expression as a kind of euphemism when referring to his various acts of infidelity, taking his lovers to a tower which overlooked his kingdom, including the city of Cuenca.
