Borrowed from Latin Pantheon, itself borrowed from Ancient Greek Πάνθειον (Pántheion, “a temple of all gods”), neuter of πάνθειος (pántheios, “of or common to all gods”), from παν- (pan-, “all, everything”) + θεῖος (theîos, “of or for the gods”), from θεός (theós, “god”).
