Most of them are used of time as well. ==== Usage notes ==== The number and exact meaning of locational cases vary by language. In modern Finnish there are six of them, grouped as sisäpaikallissijat (“internal locational cases”), which are inessive, elative and illative and ulkopaikallissijat (“external locational cases”), which are adessive, ablative and allative.
