The more idiomatic German word is landesweit or, in the cases of Germany and Austria specifically, bundesweit: ein landesweiter/bundesweiter Gesangswettbewerb. ==== Declension ==== ==== Derived terms ==== === Further reading === “national” in Digitales Wörterbuch der deutschen Sprache “national” in Uni Leipzig: Wortschatz-Lexikon “national” in Duden online
