The phrasing is relatively close to the text in the Deux-Aesbijbel: het gaet my na der vrouwen wijse. The Statenvertaling has ['t gaet] my nae der wijven wijse, the Liesveltbijbel has mi is nv geschiet na die ghewoonte vanden vrouwen.
