== Swedish == === Etymology === Compound of landshövding (“county governor”) +‎ -e- +‎ hus (“house”), where landshövding serves as a metonym for the county administrative board as a whole. The name originates from the board overruling the city building council, which had previously denied an application to construct a building of this type, as wooden buildings taller than two storeys were prohibited by the fire safety bylaw.
