koiranilma

== Finnish == === Etymology === Compound of koiran (“dog's”, genitive) +‎ ilma (“weather”). Similar idioms are also found in other European languages, such as German Hundewetter. === Pronunciation === IPA(key): /ˈkoi̯rɑnˌilmɑ/, [ˈko̞i̯rɑ̝nˌilmɑ̝] Rhymes: -ilmɑ Syllabification(key): koi‧ran‧il‧ma Hyphenation(key): koiran‧ilma === Noun === koiranilma (idiomatic) bad weather, awful weather ==== Declension ==== === Further reading === “koiranilma”, in Kielitoimiston sanakirja [Dictionary of Contemporary Finnish]‎[1] (in Finnish) (online dictionary, continuously updated), Kotimaisten kielten keskuksen verkkojulkaisuja 35, Helsinki: Kotimaisten kielten tutkimuskeskus (Institute for the Languages of Finland), 2004–, retrieved 2 July 2023 === Anagrams === mikrolaina
