kenraaliharjoitus
التعريفات والمعاني
== Finnish ==
=== Etymology ===
Compound of kenraali + harjoitus. This is probably originally a misconception of Swedish generalrepetition (“dress rehearsal”). In Swedish as well as in English the word "general" means both a military rank and "concerned with, applicable to, or affecting the whole", whereas in Finnish kenraali is used in the latter sense only in this term.
