=== Adjective ===
insipid schizotypal (not comparable)
(psychiatry) Exhibiting one of the two subtypes of schizotypal personality disorder as defined by the American psychiatrist Theodore Millon. Includes schizoid, depressive and dependent features
=== Traits ===
Sense of strangeness and nonbeing; overtly drab, sluggish, inexpressive; internally bland, barren, indifferent, and insensitive; obscured, vague, and tangential thoughts.
==== Usage notes ====
These subtypes are not recognized by the DSM-5 or ICD-11.
Any individual with schizotypal personality disorder may exhibit either none or one of the different subtypes (Millon believes pure personality variants to be rare; instead, personalities typically manifest as a blend of a primary type with a secondary subtype)
