== Finnish == === Etymology === Derived from hieta, either as hieta +‎ -ikka (< *hiedikka), or as a blend of hieta +‎ hiukka; may be influenced by hiukka in any case. Originally primarily an Eastern Finnish word; considered Savonian by Juslenius (1745).
