haja o que hajar
التعريفات والمعاني
== Portuguese ==
=== Etymology ===
Humorous regularization of houver (the future subjunctive of haver (“there be”)) as hajar, from haja (“let there be”, present subjunctive) + -ar (regular infinitive suffix), following most verbs, such as falar, andar, subir, comer, viver, etc., each of which is both the infinitive and the future subjunctive form of itself. Compare saber and ver, whose fut. subjs. are not themselves, but respectively souber and vir, though the latter is usually regularized to ver in nonformal language.
