guaxa

=== Etymology ===
According to Xosé Lluis García Arias, it may be derived from Arabic وَحْش (waḥš). On the other hand, Xulio Concepción proposed it may be related to Vulgar Latin hostia from Latin hostem, if so it would be a doublet of güestia. Alternatively, from Proto-Celtic waxsis (servant).
