== Swedish == === Alternative forms === Gröna Hissen, Gröna hissen === Etymology === Compound of grön +‎ -a +‎ hiss +‎ -en, literally “the green elevator”. Originally the name of the fictional cocktail "The Green Elevator" in the 1915 American stage comedy Fair and Warmer. When the play was translated into Swedish, it was titled Gröna hissen (literally, “The green elevator”) after the drink featured in it.
