Borrowed from Hindi घड़ी (ghaṛī) or Urdu گھڑی (ghaṛī).

ghurry (plural ghurries) (India, obsolete)
A clepsydra or water clock, consisting of a floating cup with a small hole in it, adjusted so that it fills and sinks in a fixed time.
The gong by which the time so indicated is struck.
(by extension) A clock or watch.
(Anglo-Indian) An hour, or some indefinite period of time.
