== Hungarian == === Etymology === Uncertain. Possibly from a Turkic language + -ed (frequentative-instantaneous suffix). Róna-Tas proposes a borrowing from West Old Turkic *äŋ-, which would occur before Hungarians migrated to Carpathian basin in 10th century.
