== Hungarian == === Etymology === Compound of egyre +‎ másra, from egy (“one”) +‎ -re (sublative case suffix) and más (“other, different; else”) +‎ -ra (sublative case suffix); originally a coordinate structure. First attested in 1587. The first element is morphologically identical to egyre (“continually; increasingly”), although it derives from a different sense of egy.
