=== Adjective ===
depersonalized schizoid (not comparable)
(psychiatry) Exhibiting one of the four subtypes of schizoid personality disorder as defined by the American psychiatrist Theodore Millon. Includes features of schizotypal personality disorder
=== Traits ===
Disengaged from others and self; self is disembodied or distant object; body and mind sundered, cleaved, dissociated, disjoined, eliminated. Often seen as simply staring into the empty space or being occupied with something substantial while actually being occupied with nothing at all.
==== Usage notes ====
These subtypes are not recognized by the DSM-5 or ICD-11.
Any individual with schizoid personality disorder may exhibit either none or one of the different subtypes (Millon believes pure personality variants to be rare; instead, personalities typically manifest as a blend of a primary type with a secondary subtype)
