From Latin calcātōrium, from calcāre (“to trample”) + -tōrium (“-ory: forming locations”), from calx (“heel”) + -āre (“forming verbs”). Equivalent to calcate + -ory.

calcatory (plural calcatories)
(obsolete, rare) Synonym of winepress, particularly a location where grapes are crushed underfoot to produce juice or wine.
