==== Usage notes ====
It is often used to refer to a resident of that same neighborhood who fits a profile that links the individual to a predisposition to conflict or crime, so its use is sometimes derogatory. This usage is usually based on territorial and social prejudices unrelated to the demographic reality of the neighborhood.
By extension, also derogatory, it sometimes refers to any person of Arab or Berber origin in Melilla with the stereotype of a "threatening" person or someone linked to a marginalized subculture, implicitly suggesting a predisposition to physical confrontation.
