brynestein m (definite singular brynesteinen, indefinite plural brynesteinar, definite plural brynesteinane)
a long flat stone (usually 12-20 inches long) used for sharpening of knives, axes and swords. May be manually produced (like e.g. Eidsborgbryna) or industrial produced.
