brushtull

=== Pronunciation ===
IPA(key): /ˈbɾuʃtuɫ/
=== Etymology 1 ===
From Proto-Albanian *brustula, from Proto-Indo-European *bʰrust- (compare Old Saxon brustian (“to sprout”), Russian брость (brostʹ, “buds (of a shrub)”), from the root *bʰrews- (“to swell, grow”). Topalli has argued for a borrowing from Serbo-Croatian bljušt, although this seems unlikely on phonetic grounds. Compare also Romanian brusture (“burdock”).
