From باد (bâd, “wind”) + ورد (vard, “rose”). === Noun === bedeguar (plural bedeguars) (archaic) A gall produced on rosebushes, especially on the sweetbrier or eglantine, by a puncture from the ovipositor of a gallfly (Diplolepis rosae).
