== Turkish == === Etymology === From Ottoman Turkish آتلامق, آطلامق (atlamak, “to jump over; to skip over; to avoid; to jump, leap”). From Oghuz اَتْلَنْماقْ (atlanmak, “to climb”), Proto-Oghuz *atla- (“to jump”), morphologically, Proto-Turkic *āt- +‎ *-ïg +‎ *-la-. Cognate with Turkmen ätlemek from ätmek (Turkish adım atmak), Salar atlağusı.
