Synonyms: taloyhtiö (more common in everyday use), as.oy (abbreviation) ==== Usage notes ==== asunto-osakeyhtiö is the official Finnish term for this concept. The official translation into English is "limited liability housing company". However, the term appears to be unknown in the English-speaking part of the world. By contrast, the shorter translation "housing company", also used by Finnish sources, has also been used by non-Finnish sources.
