The word arjalainen is strongly connected with (neo-)Nazi and racist ideologies, and would normally be used only by the supporters of those ideologies. The terms indoeurooppalainen and indogermaaninen are preferred instead. Arjalainen is, however, acceptable for use in the context of Indian mythology, the Vedas, etc.
