== English == === Etymology === From aphrodito- (“Venus”) +‎ -oid (“like”). From Ancient Greek Ἀφροδίτη (Aphrodítē, “Aphrodite”), the Greek Goddess of Love, equivalent to the Roman Goddess of Love Venus (“Venus”), synonymous use for the planet; and Ancient Greek -ειδής (-eidḗs, “-oid”) suffix. Coined in analogy to geoid, the equivalent for planet Earth. === Noun === aphroditoid (plural aphroditoids) (astronomy, geology, planetology) The analogue of the geoid for the planet Venus; the Venusian geoid.
