Inherited from Proto-Bantu *-jánʊda (“to withdraw something from the Sun”). This verb is not ascribed to zone N, but given that this verb is the reversive of -anika (“to spread out to dry in the Sun”), and the fact that a reversive form of the proto-Bantu verb is given, it is likely that it derives from this verb.
