== Finnish == === Etymology === From Proto-Finnic *ajadak, from Proto-Uralic *aja-. Cognates include Estonian ajama and Northern Sami vuodjit. Has also been compared with Erzya айгемс (ajgems, “to move sth”) (which may be derived from Proto-Mordvinic *ajə-).
