Learned borrowing from Old Uyghur 𐼰𐼰𐼵𐽆𐼴𐼻 (ʾʾẓwn /ažun/), from Sogdian 𐫀𐫋𐫇𐫗 (ʾjwn). Adopted and revitalized by Turkish Language Association in 1930s under the impression of a Turkic origin, but later dropped and is now obsolete in usage
