== Translingual == === Etymology === From Ancient Greek ὄρνιθ- (órnith-, the stem of ὄρνις (órnis, “bird”)) + ῥύγχος (rhúnkhos, “snout”). Coined by German physician, naturalist, physiologist, and anthropologist Johann Friedrich Blumenbach in 1800.
