Compare Upper Sorbian Chrósćicy. === Pronunciation === IPA(key): /ˈkʁɔstvɪts/ === Proper noun === Crostwitz n (proper noun, genitive Crostwitz' or (with an article) Crostwitz) a village in Saxony, Germany, today a center of Upper Sorbian culture. ==== Usage notes ==== Upper Sorbian survives as a community language only among the Catholic minority settling in the triangle between Kamenz, Hoyerswerda and Bautzen (excluding all of these towns). Crostwitz, along with neighbouring Ralbitz-Rosenthal, forms the center of this region and retains around 90% Sorbian-speakers.
