== English == === Etymology === Derived from Scottish Gaelic siorrachd chlach Mhannainn (“county with the stone of Manau”). For the second element see cloch (“stone”). The last element is from Celtic, but of unknown meaning; see Manau. === Proper noun === Clackmannan A town in Clackmannanshire council area, Scotland, which was the county town of the historic county of Clackmannanshire until 1822 (OS grid ref NS9192).
